My name is Annette Sutherland. I own and operate a husband/wife educational business. We offer digital download curriculum for all ages. I have over 27 years experience in the education field. I have been a preschool teacher, Educational Coordinator, Assistant Director, and a Center Director at the licensed Child Care level. I have worked for the local school district. I also have owned and operated my own in home daycare, Books and Bubbles Family Care, in Arkansas City, Kansas.
I grew up in California. I had the opportunity to live in both Northern California and Southern California. I love the beaches! I graduated College in 1998 earning a diploma from Rasmussen College in Eagan, Minnesota. I graduated from the Child Care Specialty program. I continued my education attending Riverside Community College while back in Southern California.
I am a mother to five children. I have 3 grown boys and 2 younger daughters. I have had the pleasure of homeschooling our 2 daughters since 2014. I teach using the amazing Abeka curriculum. It really works for our family. When they were younger, in preschool, I taught using our own curriculum, Teach At Daycare. It met all of our needs from literacy to math and the in between.
I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, decorating our home,and making crafts. I LOVE spending time with my family, teaching our daughters, and coffee! I am also a huge football fan! I grew up watching the 49ers and grew to love the Chargers when they were in San Diego. I am also a Chiefs fan as this is our local team. Our family are Royals fans as well.
